As I said in my first post, the Kratom plant hasn't been on everyone's radar here in the U.S. for very long, therefore we do not have any studies on long term effects, which is some of what people are afraid of, the lack of knowledge we have about kratom. The plant is harvested in Southeast Asia. The leaves are cut, dried, and crushed into powder, and this is what we call pure 100% natural kratom leaf. This is what is considered legal in the United States right now. There are, sadly, people out there making synthetic kratom, and mixing things that do not belong in kratom, or worse, not testing kratom before being put on the market .
Kratom is completely unregulated at this point, so there really isn't any set of rules or guidelines that anyone has to follow. No one is wagging their finger at us saying "no, no, no, do it this way." My company, Klean Vibes Kratom Company, (KVKC) has our own set of rules and standards for our product. We test for impurities, metals, strength, bacteria, salmonella, mold, and lead. No one is telling us we have to do this but it is essential that we do. Our audience ranges from recovering drug addicts to people who are just trying to pick up their little boy or girl pain free. Now, I'm not a doctor, and I will say this many times in my posts, but I truly believe that Kratom can help a wide spectrum of ailments. We have customers using the product for addiction, pain management, anxiety, depress, high blood pressure, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and so many more things. My job is to make sure that they are getting a safe clean reliable product, that they can trust. Some of these people are really sick and if they get something that hasn't been tested and is contaminated with something, it could really hurt, or worse, kill someone. This is very serious. So, if you are purchasing kratom, make sure it is tested and you can trust the source. It is very important.
With all that being said, I don't want the government regulating kratom, but if we show that we can do the right thing and make sure we are all delivering a safe product to the public, then maybe it wont come to that. To all the vendors out there doing it right, hats off to you. To the rest, shame on you, money is never worth someone's health or safety. That's all for today.
Thanks for reading, and as always...
Keep it klean!
Ammanda
